Those merchants who have relied on dial up speed and slow response times for years now have a new way to connect their terminal to high speed internet access WITHOUT running internet cabling throughout your business. RS Capital Group has successfully installed and tested secure internet access using only a cable modem and/or router to extend internet access via the current electrical wiring in the facility. We plug in 2 secure adapters – one is connected to the cable modem or router and the other is plugged in to an electrical outlet near the credit card processing terminal. The adapter has a network port for an RJ45 cable and we then have internet access to the credit card processing terminal. This device will certainly reduce the check-out time at the register by more than 10 seconds and add more transactions to the bottom line!
